Modern sauna centre in the 4-star Hotel Melanie
Leave the daily stress behind!
After a stressful day, there is nothing better than relaxing with a visit to the sauna or in the steam bath! At our sauna centre, which was newly built in 2012, you will be spoilt for choice. First, decide between the four different saunas. Afterwards, the relaxation area with heated bench and water beds will provide the perfect end to a hot visit to the sauna.
The sauna centre at Hotel Melanie
The sauna centre has everything your heart could desire. Aside from a classic Finnish sauna, a steam sauna and a bio sauna guarantee pure relaxation. Should you find these three options to be too hot, then enjoy a few care-free minutes in the infrared cabin. Also, for those who need to catch a few sun rays even in bad weather, the solarium awaits.
After visiting the sauna, enjoy the fresh air with a walk through the garden. To ensure your body is sufficiently hydrated after your time in the sauna, you can help yourself to the daily treats in the wellness area, which include a rich selection of different teas, as well as water and fresh apples.
The saunas in detail:
Relax at 90 degrees Celsius while doing something good for your body. Water infusions help the wood-panelled space to reach a temperature of around 90 degrees Celsius. The high temperature stimulates your circulation and helps the body to remove harmful substances through heavy perspiration.
If the Finnish sauna is too hot for you, then simply relax in the bio-herbal sauna. Truly unwind at a comfortable 60 degrees Celsius and spend a few delightful minutes amongst the herbal fragrances. Your immune system will thank you for it.
Relax at a pleasantly warm 40 degrees Celsius and a humidity of up to 100%. This is ideal after an eventful day. You will notice how gently your skin is cleansed and the positive effect the visit to the steam bath has on your airways.
The infrared heat cabins are heated through infrared rays and generate a pleasant feeling for your body and soul. The rays create a feeling of deep warmth which immerses you in a world of relaxation.
After a visit to the sauna, wind down further in our relaxation area, on a heated bench or in the water beds and give your body the recuperation it needs.
